Eden Prairie, Minnesota – Ebatco co-sponsored a two-day workshop on surface and thin film characterization held on December 9-10, 2009 at the University of Minnesota. The organizers of this informative event are the Characterization Facility (CharFac) and Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial and Materials Engineering (IPrime) of the University of Minnesota. Other sponsors include Kyowa Interface Science Co. Ltd. of Japan, Agilent Technologies, and J. A. Woollam Co., Inc. More than 70 attendees from both academic and industrial institutions attended the workshop. Dr. Dehua Yang of Ebatco presented “Micro and Dynamic Contact Angle Measurement: Techniques and Applications”.
