EV-2

product-crystalmark-ev2The Model EV-2, Micro Swam Blaster is designed with independently adjustable powder flow control, air pressure regulation for total process control, and brass fittings throughout the abrasive pathway.

When detail is required, the powder flow is turned down to reduce the amount of the powder being vibrated into the abrasive/air pathway thus allowing the use of very small nozzle tips. For more aggressive requirements, the air pressure, powder flow and the nozzle tip diameter can be increased.

An assortment of nozzle styles and sizes, a wide variety of powder types and particles sizes, and interchangeable orifice plates are available to accomplish various applications. The model EV-2 works with a nozzle range from .007″ up to .032″.


EV-2L

MV-2

Front and back panels unlatch to easily access components and carbide lined fittings throughout the abrasive/air pathway for routine maintenance. The powder tank is mounted to a hinged plate that allows it to tilt to the side and with the push of a button, the vibrator activates to simply walk the powder out for rapid powder changes. The Model MV-2 works very well with a nozzle range from .007″ up to 0.032″.


MV-2L

The SWAM-BLAST® Micro Swam Blasters are designed to introduce a precise amount of finely graded abrasive powder into a controlled stream of compressed air through the abrasive air pathway and out a manually or automatically positioned nozzle tip.

Total process control can be achieved with independently adjustable powder flow control and air pressure regulation. The unique design of Model MV-241 offers “Maximum Versatility”. This model is a combination of the precise ability of the Model MV-2 and the aggressive attitude of the Model MV-2L in one unit. Just press the toggle switch on the front panel to green to use the nozzles from .007″ up to .040″ or press the toggle switch to amber to use the nozzle from .018″ up to .060″.


LV-1

Micro Swam Blaster (Large Volume) is best for operating in production lines and in the SWAM Automated Equipment. Features independently adjustable powder flow control, air pressure regulation for total process control, an hour meter for SPC monitoring, and a leak detection system for the pinch valve assemblies. Optimum nozzle range is from 0.018″ to 0.060″. The instrument holds approximately 20 pounds of aluminum oxide. Please specify your electrical requirements when requesting for a quote.

Crystal Mark, Inc. offers additional options for both models such as a Low Powder Sensor to detect low levels of abrasive powder within the auxiliary tank and a Pulse Shaker that enhances the powder flow from the auxiliary tank to the mixing tank.


XV-1

SWAM-BLAST Model XV-1 Micro Swam Blaster (Xtream Volume). Is independently adjustable powder flow control and air pressure regulation for total process control, an hour meter for SPC and air pressure regulation for total process control, an hour meter for SPC monitoring, a leak detection system for the pinch value assemblies and larger hoses and fitting than the Model LV-1 for heaviest output requirements. Optimum nozzle range is from 0.032″ to 0.090″. The instrument holds approximately 20 pounds of aluminum oxide.


Aero Blaster

The AERO-Blaster is designed to propel a finely graded abrasive in an air stream or just a blast of air delivered to the nozzle at the touch of a button on the hand-piece assembly. The AERO-Blaster can perform a multitude of tasks including: cleaning, cutting, de-burring, de-flashing, drilling, etching, trimming, stripping and removal of surface oxides. The cleaning or cutting is primarily done by a method known as “pressure-feeding”. The AERO-Blaster utilizes a unique system whereby air pressure forces abrasive particles to high velocities. This results in cleaning or cutting that is very similar to the larger more expensive systems. The AERO-Blaster has been designed to operate between 60-110 psi.


Eco Blaster

The Eco-Blaster utilizes a unique pressure feed system to propel a finely graded abrasive powder into a high pressure air stream and out through the nozzle and hand piece assembly.

This economical micro-sandblaster lacks the precision controls of the SWAM BLASTER series, but it can be used effectively for many applications, including cutting, deburring, etching, surface texturing, surface finishing, glass engraving, glass etching ,glass beading of machined parts, preparation of fossils, gems, minerals, artifacts, and so much more.
